• 2 slices whole-wheat, GF bread OR greens of choice such as spinach or lettuce
• 114g or 4 oz grilled or canned chicken
• 50g or ½ apple sliced
•16g or 2 tablespoon pecans
• 32g or 2 tablespoon light balsamic dressing
• optional: ½ cup roasted butternut squash
Directions:
Mix the chicken, apples, pecans and dressing into a “salad”. Top all ingredients on to mixed greens. I used frozen butternut squash that I roasted and added to each salad.
