Christmas Breakfast Casserole

Celebrate the holiday season with a festive and comforting Christmas Egg Casserole! This easy-to-make dish combines fluffy eggs, savory sausage, melted cheese, and perfectly seasoned vegetables, creating a warm and hearty breakfast that’s perfect for Christmas morning. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or enjoying a cozy family gathering, this casserole is the ultimate holiday breakfast that brings everyone together.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 6 eggs beaten

  • 1½ cups Greek Yogurt

  • 6 slices white bread toasted and cut into cubes (I used gluten free )

  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded




Directions:

  1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish, set it aside.

  2. In a large skillet cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned, and drain.

  3. In a large bowl mix the salt, eggs, and yogurt. Then add the cooked meat, bread cubes, and cheese. Stir together until evenly coated.

  4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Cover with foil and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F . Bake the casserole covered for 50-60 minutes.

  6. Reduce the heat to 325°F. Uncover the casserole and bake for 20-30 additional minutes or until casserole has set.
