Chocolate Mug Cake

This 3-ingredient mug cake is a quick way to satisfy your chocolate cravings. This healthy chocolate mug cake is flourless, refined sugar-free and oil-free too!


  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (you can sub an equal amount of sugar-free syrup, or sugar-free chocolate sauce)

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder

  • Optional: 1/8 teaspoon powdered sugar for dusting




Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients except the powdered sugar in a small bowl with a fork or whisk.

  2. Spray a mug or ramekin with cooking spray.

  3. Microwave at high power for 1 minute.

  4. Middle should be soft but cooked; if it needs more time add 15 second increments until done.

  5. Dig in! Dust with optional powdered sugar

  6. Serves 1
