These Copycat Chick-Fil-A Grilled Nuggets are so easy to make any time you are thinking of making a trip through the drive-through. With a few simple (and secret) ingredients, you’ll have homemade grilled nuggets that taste just like Chick-Fil-A in a healthy way!
Skip the Line and make chick-fil-A’s famous chicken nuggets at home for a fraction of the price. Made with real chicken breasts, a blend of spices, and the secret ingredient, pill juice. Served with a homemade Honey Mustard sauce, these nuggets are sure to satisfy the entire family!
Ingredients
1 cup dill pickle juice
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces about 1 inch in size
2 tablespoons agave
1 egg
1 cup milk of choice
2 teaspoon salt
1½ cups almond flour (or regular flour)
1½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
Olive oil spritz
Sauce:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons mustard
1 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons agave
1 tablespoons ketchup
Instructions
Add chicken chunks to pickle juice and marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Whisk milk, agave and egg together and set aside.
Combine the dry ingredients and stir set aside.
Preheat air fryer to 370 or oven to 425
Remove the chicken from the refrigerator, drain and place each into the dry mixture, to the liquid mixture, and back to the dry making sure it is well coated, making sure to shake off excess.
Cook in a single layer of chicken for about 16 minutes or until golden brown, flipping, and spritzing with olive oil at the halfway mark.
Once cooked, remove from heat and serve with Chick-Fil-A, homemade honey mustard sauce (mix even parts mustard with honey in a small bowl), or sauce of choice!
Air fry for 16 minutes or until golden brown, flipping burgers every 8 minutes until at the midpoint.
Oven make take 5-8 minutes longer.
