Broccoli Slaw Salad

A nice cool refreshing salad that can become a summer staple! As the weather gets warmer, we want refreshing things to eat, and this right here does the justice. This can become your go-to item to bring to cookouts and gatherings in the summer! Don't miss it!


Ingredients:

  • 6 cups broccoli

  • 3 cups broccoli slaw

  • 1 Red onion

  • 1 Apple

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup agave

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Directions:

  1. Chop all of the ingredients for the salad and combine in a bowl.

  2. Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl until combined. Pour over the salad and toss to combine. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving (it can also be made 1 day in advance).

  3. Serve as a side salad along with protein.
